Fiber Optic Inline Splice Closure (Model RI-210)

The Optical Fibre Cable horizontal Inline Splice closure is compact and composite in construction. This has been manufactured by Riddhi Infratel as per the latest state of art technology and is in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 series of standard. The Inline Splice Closure from 6 fibers to 96 fibers capacity shall be of Universal type. The water & air tight splice box shall provides spliced fiber in a secured condition in any environmental condition. The Splice boxes will be kept in the manholes directly buried or Wall/Pole & Tower mounted in case of Arial cables. These Splice boxes can be categorized in various single cable entry ports three on each side. All the ports are sealed by plugs. It can be opened by removing as per the application and requirement. The Inline splice closure provides scope for Direct (Straight) Joints and also (Branch) Joints and suitable for all types of ribbon and non ribbon cables structures and for Armored cables with Earthlings provision. The spliced fiber shall be suitably protected keeping minimum permissible bending radius for fiber inside the splice box. The FRP clamp has been designed which is flexible for both type of cables. Opticle Fiber Stripper

Telecom
Depending on fiber’s application, different optical fiber coating designs exist. However, 250um UV coating is the most popular among today’s single mode and multimode bare fibers. The following illustration shows this common design. The polymer coating is a soft, UV cured, urethane acrylate. It has a higher refractive index than the cladding layer, so it can strip out unwanted light. This polymer coating may consist of one or two layers. If there are two layers, the inner layer is called primary coating and the outer layer is called secondary coating. The primary coating has a diameter of 180um. It is made of very soft acrylate to reduce fiber’s microbend loss. The secondary coating usually has a diameter of 250um and is made of much harder acrylate to provide good abrasion resistance.
